Nepal defeats UAE by 5 wickets

KATHMANDU, Nov 11: Captain Paras Khadka shone with the bat, scoring 85 off 62 balls, as Team Nepal defeated UAE in the first warm-up match, ahead of World T20 qualifiers in Dubai on Tuesday.

Chasing a target of 139 to beat UAE, Nepal lost two of its wickets -- Pradeep Airee and Subhash Khakurel -- with score at 18 in three overs. Paras belted 9 fours and 4 sixes in his innings and Nepal achieved the target with 3 balls to spare. [More]
