Chitwan Nov 5: Police here have arrested a group of Rastriya Prajatantra Party-aligned youths on the charge of rowdy behaviour at a hotel in Meghauli of west Chitwan.

The police have seized khukuri, knives, swords and iron rods from those RR cadres.

Police took under control 11 youths, a car used by them and 11 motorbikes from the hotel premises. The police reached the place after locals complained that the youths were making a lot of noise and causing disturbance I the neighbourhood.

Those arrested have been kept in police custody. It is stated that the locals called the police after a group of youths who were staying at the hotel had a quarrel with the hotel owner and called local RPP cadres for help.They tried to physically attack the hotel owner and were resisted by the locals.

Five people were injured in course of the clash, police said.
