  Goit-led ATMM cadre Mukhiya nabbed with weapons

SAPTARI, Nov 12: Police have taken hold of Goit-led ATTM Saptari area in-charge Pradip Mukhiya with weapons from Gobargada VDC at the wee hours of Tuesday.

One socket bomb, one homemade gun and its two rounds of bullets were recovered from Mukhiya’s possession, said SP Dinesh Amatya, in-charge of Saptari District Police Office. Acting on a tip-off, sleuths arrested Mukhiya at 2 am today.

Acting on a tip-off that Mukhiya was coming into Nepal with weapons to disrupt election, police were able to find  him in their net. 

Jayakrishna Goit-led Akhil Terai Mukti Morcha (ATMM) and Jwala Singh-led Morcha had joined hands to disrupt polls few months ago.

Earlier Saptari police had arrested district commander of Jwala Singh-led Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha (JTMM) Muneshwor Mandal from Lalpatti VDC bordering India.
