BIRATNAGAR, Nov 12: At a time when the CPN-Maoist party is waging war to foil the upcoming Constituent Assembly polls, as many as its 16 cadres including Kochia State Committee member have quit the party, dealing a blow to its leadership.

Organizing a press meet here in Biratnagar on Tuesday, Kochila State Committee member Uttam Dhungel said, “ We have quit the party as the party has turned to violent activities in the run up to the CA polls.”

The party members including CPN-Maoist senior member Pradip Kumar Joshi, district members Lavkumar Tamrakar, Uttam Shrestha, All Nepal Women’s Association (Revolutionary) Juna Shrestha, have deserted the party.
